Scorpions cruise in elimination game, advance to night rematch

LUBBOCK — The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College bats came alive again as the Scorpions routed Avila University (Mo.) 15-5 in their elimination game in the opening round of the NAIA National Baseball Championship on Wednesday at Hays Field.
